Full Description
Structure, cairn and associated banks, 32 m square in overall extent.
a) subcircular structure, defined by stones flush or nearly flush with turf. Stones are intermittent but in places appear closely set. Measures 6.9 m N/S x 7.4 m externally with wall <1 m wide. Stones generally 0.25 m long. Faced entrance in SW.
b) c 26 m to S is a small field, defined by curved length of wall c 20 m long, of partly turfed over stones generally < 0.3 m across, clear facing visible in places. Roughly parallel length of wall 21 m to NE, 4.5 m long, 2 courses evident. Linear cairn, 5 m ENE/WSW x 2 m wide, along upper edge of field. Overall projected dimensions of field = c 20 m NNE/SSW x 20 m. Both lengths of walling run down slope.
Undulating, SSE-facing hillside above open valley.
Hut circle with associated small enclosed field on sloping ground below it.
