Full Description

A carved stone is re-used in the walls of a steading at Meikle Findon, east of Culbokie. Photographs of the stone were received from a visitor to the HER website. There is a local tradition that it came from Kinbeachie Castle when this was demolished. <1>

Additonal photographs were submitted by R Spencer-Jones of NoSAS in 2024 in response to possible threat from a planning application at the steading. <2>
