Full Description

A quarry pit, recorded during walkover survey, Below and to the south of the hut circle is a large horseshoe-shaped borrow pit, measuring 16m x 9m. It has a boulder lip around it and a spring in a hollow in its centre. It was probably excavated for the construction of the track from Achnaluachrach to Achtomlinie. <1>
