Summary
Information from local residents suggests that the site of the curling pond in Avoch was near to where the community centre now stands. The burn which presumably supplied the pond has since been diverted.

Full Description
Information from participant in Black Isle Heritage Memories Project. Original curling pond was situated below the railway bridge & road bridge. The burn changed course when new school built; pond now lost. <1>
The burn is shown on both the 1st and 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps; no pond is shown. <2><3>
