Full Description
This stell, lying to the west of the fields of Achkeepster and Baledavist, is marked on the OS First edition map. On the ground, it - like site 026 - appears to be a well-maintained structure, still standing to 1.6m high, over walls 1.5m wide, but tapering towards the top. All the coping stones are still in place, as is the lintel over the doorway in the south-east quadrant. The stell is 12m in diameter and lies just inside the boundary of the fields belonging to Achkeepster. <1>
