Full Description
This cairn was located by John Wombell in Autumn 2008. He describes it as being circular in plan c.6m diameter and c.0.5m high at its centre and recorded as 'Tumulus' on older OS maps. <1>
From the description the given NGR would appear to be completely wrong as no older OS maps show a 'tumulus' at this location. It should probably be c.335m to the northwest where [IS-L 09/04/2026].
