Full Description

In February 2011 Martin Briscoe submitted photographs and information about the remains of one or more structures which lie beside the railway line. The structures are shown to be unroofed on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1876. It is possible that they were re-used as a fank at some point, although if so it was quite a complicated one. <1>

The structures were not recorded in the RCAHMS 1st edition survey project looking at possible remnants of early settlement. <2>
