This milestone, which is depicted standing on the E side of what is now the A836 public road at Brae Kirkiboll on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherlandshire 1878, sheet XXV), was not found on the date of visit. The stone indicated the distance in miles to ‘TONGUE 2½’ and ‘ALTNAHARROW 15’.
