NC64NW 13 61861 46374 Tongue
This milestone was not found on the date of visit. It is depicted standing on the E verge of what is now the A836 public road about 90m SE of Loch Loyal Lodge on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherlandshire 1878, sheet XXXV). It indicated the distance in miles to ‘TONGUE 9½’ and ‘ALTNAHARROW 8½’.
