This milestone was not found on the date of visit. It is depicted standing on the SE verge of what is now the A836 public road where it traverses the NW flank of Cnoc Staing on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherlandshire 1878, sheet XLIII). It indicated the distance in miles to ‘TONGUE 13½’ and ‘ALTNAHARROW 4½’.
