This milestone was not found on the date of visit. It is depicted standing on the SE verge of what is now of the A836 public road 1.5km SW of Altnaharra Lodge on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherlandshire 1878, sheet LIII). It indicated the distance in miles to ‘ALTNAHARROW 1½’ and ‘LAIRG 19½’.
