This milestone was not found on the date of visit. It is depicted standing on the N verge of what is now the A836 public road immediately W of Lairg on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherlandshire 1879, sheet XCIV). It indicated the distance in miles to ‘ALTNAHARROW 20½’ and ‘LAIRG ½’.
