RCAHMS Canmore description:
NM 9244 5755 – Recessed platform, 6.3 x 6.2m. Rear scarp 0.2m; front revetment of stone, 1.0m. Eroded and wet, with charcoal.
The placename suggests that this area was a shieling (belonging to Inversanda), but there is nothing in the
archaeological record to confirm this.
