RCAHMS Canmore description:
NM 9238 5751 – Recessed platform, 8.5 x 7.5m. Rear scarp 0.1m; front revetment of turf, 0.4m. Charcoal present.
The placename suggests that this area was a shieling (belonging to Inversanda), but there is nothing in the
archaeological record to confirm this.
