Full Description
A hut circle at Strath Brora.
A walkover survey by C Dagg in 2007 in advance of the second phase of native woodland planting on Kilbraur common grazings located eight previously unrecorded hut circles within associated field systems. At NC 7944 1009 on a raised, level platform is a well-defined circle of stony banks measuring 10.5m in diameter. Surrounding this is a cleared area of former cultivation, although no clearance piles were noted. <1>
