Full Description

A hut circle at Strath Brora.

A walkover survey by C Dagg in 2007 in advance of the second phase of native woodland planting on Kilbraur common grazings located eight previously unrecorded hut circles within associated field systems. At NC 7995 1045, the hut circle consists of distinct grass and moss covered walling surrounded by heather, on a level knoll. The circle measures 8m in diameter internally and has a possible entrance to the east. <1>
