The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. The current edition of the OS (GIS) MasterMap, evidently applies the name Tails of Elsay to an area of narrow rocky promontories and an offshore rock at ND 388 520, to the NE of the 'Cairn of Elsay' (ND35SE 6).
