Full Description
In 2009 Forestry Commission Scotland commissioned C Shepherd to undertake a survey and assessment of those parts of the 18th century Military Road network crossing the National Forest Estate in Inverness, Ross& Skye, Lochaber and North Highland Forest Districts. During the survey of Invercoe revetment and an early square stone culvert beside a more modern and working pipe was recorded. The stone culvert was not visible on the upslope side, but the road was 6m wide here. The culvert might well relate to the early road. <1>
