NLO: Wick Bay [name centred ND 376 506].
Possibly on map sheet ND34NE.
(Classified as sloop: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as December 1860). Janet: this vessel was lost at Wick.
Registration: Peterhead. Built 1849. 17 tons burthern. Length: 12m. Beam: 3m.
(Location of loss cited as N58 26.00 W3 4.00).

The location assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. The loss of this vessel may have occurred within the area of map sheet map sheet ND34NE.
This vessel presumably stranded, but it remains unclear whether this occurred within Wick Harbour or out in Wick Bay. Wick Harbour (ND35SE 66.00) is centred at ND 36820 50670.
It also remains unclear whether or not these vessels stranded together and/or on the same occasion.
