Full Description

Douglas Scott has reported an apparent large kerb cairn located in the middle of a small sloping field to the east of the road below the Balnacuile Farm just north of Spinningdale. The feature comprises a c.25 metre by 3 metre high oval stone mound which has a smaller flat-topped kerb cairn on its top, offset to the south. The small cairn has a slight linear hollow, which extends to the eastern kerbstones, which might indicate the position of a passage. <1>
