Full Description

The stone axe is recorded in the accession records of Brighton Museum as "axe, flint, ground pale grey fine siltstone", of Neolithic date and donated to the Museum by Mr N Penzer, after he found it on the shore Loch Garry in August 1914. The new accession number is 220551. Due to refurbishment of the museum, a photograph can't be available until 2002.

A stone axe, found on the shore of Loch Garry (centred NH 2302, exact findspot not known) is in Brighton Museum (Acc No: R 1540).
