Full Description
David Alston has noted and photographed a substantial corn-drying kiln at approximately NH 825 174. <1>
The kiln is presumably associated with a farmstead depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1874-5 as three roofed buildings, a rectangular enclosure and other features. According to the depiction on the modern OS Mastermap, parts of the buildings survive as unroofed structures. <2><3>
