Information from Jennifer Haslam; Fiona Newton, ARCH Remembering Strathpeffer Project, 2011 <1>
There is no additional building shown on OS maps behind what is now called Nutwood House (previously Nutwood Cottage) labelled as 'Nutwood Cottage' until the construction of the present Nutwood Cottage in the former Nutwood walled garden. The only other buildings are the former stables and associated building subsequently extended to form a steading and threshing barn (see MHG16421), much of which has now been demolished [IS-L 25/05/2021].
