Full Description
A shieling hut was recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Allt Beithe, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. The stone/boulder-built structure was located to the west of a burn. It measured 4.5m NE-SW by 3.5m over the walls which were 0.6m wide and up to 0.5m high. There was no visible entrance. <1>
