Full Description

A shieling hut or pen was recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Braon a' Mheallain, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. The structure was constructed of large boulders measuring 5m NW-SE by 3.5m over walls 0.6m and 0.5m high. 0.7m wide with an entrance to the south-east. <1>
