Full Description
A double cell shieling hut was recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Braon a' Mheallain, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. The stone-built structure was covered in grass and rushes. The north-east cell measured 5m NE-SW by 4m; the south-west cell 4m NE-SW by 3.5m over walls 0.7m wide and 0.7m high. <1>
