Full Description

Post-medieval boundary walls were recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Coireag Mhor, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. The stretches of heather, moss and grass covered turf/stone walls measured 0.7-1m wide, some spread upto 1m wide and stood between 0.4- 0.6m high. <1> There is some indication on APs that the stretches of wall may originally have been continuous.
