Full Description
A post-medieval house was recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Glen Bracadale, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. Part of the Glen Bracadale township.
The grass- and moss-covered turf / stone sub-rectangular building measured 14m north-south by 6m over walls spread to 1.2m and up 1m high. There was a possible entrance in the south end of the building. It underlay enclosure Site 12 (see MHG55718). <1>
