Full Description

A post-medieval enclosure was recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Glen Bracadale, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. Possibly a later addition to the Glen Bracadale township.

The stone-built stock enclosure measured 105m WNW-ESE by 55m over walls 0.6m wide and standing up to 1.4m high. There were two gated entrances in the west and east walls. It was built over Sites 11f (see MHG55716) and 13a (see MHG55719). <1>
