Between two streams and immediately N of the Glen Shellesder track, there is a single rectangular hut (3.7m by 2m internally) with a later pen at one end.
Visited by RCAHMS May 1983
Two unroofed shieling-huts, approximately 70m apart, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Islands of Rum, Sanday etc., 1879, sheet lx), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
