Full Description

A possible hut circle was noted by WCAS in a 2011 DBA and walkover survey in advance of a bracken control programme. It was located on the flanks of a prominent knoll amidst rig and furrow and described as a subcircular setting of boulders. It measured 7m in diameter over walls spread to 1.5m with 2 upright orthostats. There was no visible entrance. <1>

There may be another possible hut circle visible on AP 10-15m to the west-southwest and associated enclosure immediately to the north of these. The polygon data includes these. S Salem 31/10/13
