Full Description

An enclosure was noted by WCAS during a 2011 DBA and walkover survey in advance of a woodland creation scheme. It was a grass and bracken-covered stone or turf enclosure built on the southwest side of robbed-out boundary wall. The remains are very indistinct-the walls appear spread to 2.5m wide and 0.3m high. <1>

Note: This may be associated with a sheepfold located on OS E1 10560. S Salem 14/11/2013
