Full Description
A drystone boundary wall on two sides of Airor burn forming an enclosure, probably an animal fold for a nearby shieling (Site 6) was noted during a walkover survey carried out by J Wordsworth in 1999 in advance of a woodland planting scheme. <1>
A boundary wall was noted by WCAS in a 2012 DBA and walkover survey in advance of a woodland creation scheme. It was a heather-covered stone or turf dyke that measured 0.7m wide and up to 0.6m high. It corresponds to Wordsworth's Site 4. <2>
