Full Description

A gatehouse was noted by ARCH's Evanton Wartime Remains project in 2013. The gatehouse for Balconie Castle was situated across from where the Co-operative was by 2013. Balconie reputedly housed Polish people, Norwegians and Black Watch during the war. Contributors: Mhairi MacKenzie, Catriona Fraser, Alpin MacDonald, and Eddie Szymborski. <1>
