Full Description
A corn mill is shown at Scarmclate, Caithness on the OS 1st Edition map.
The site was visited by C Dagg in 2000 during a walkover survey in advance of a proposed new water main. There were no visible remains but the site lay on the opposite side of the road from the proposed route of the pipeline so would be unaffected by associated works. <1>
