Full Description

A Female School located in the village of Insh. The school is known through local oral tradition as Miss Grants Sewing School.

The building appears on the 1st edition OS Map, labelled as 'Female School' and so dates to, at latest, 1871 although may be from an earlier date.

Two photographs of the school were submitted by Raymond G Green in January 2012. <1>
