A ruined post medieval building at Arrie. The building appears on the 1st edition OS Map and so dates to, at latest, 1872. However, it would appear that the building was in use for an extended but uncertain period prior to this date.

Nine photographs and information about the site was sumitted by John MacDonald in May 2012. The building was described as 30m in length and 4m in width. The remaining drystone walls mostly measured between 1m and 2m in height, although at the southern gable end, the chimney and fireplace remained almost complete. The building was aligned north to south and sat at approximately 120m above sea level. Five door openings into the builing were recorded, all on the eastern side of the building, facing the Moray Firth. However, there was no remaining evidence of the partitions seperating the five chambers associated with the doorways. The remains of a small outbuilding was also recorded a few metres to the south east of the main structure. <1>
