Full Description
On historic map evidence this house appears to have been formed from a wing of the original mid-C18 Allan House commissoned by David Munroe (see MHG23721). The main house underwent an almost complete re-build in and around 1879 and it is unclear as to how much of the original structure actually survives, if any. It is possible that Garden House was formed from the original northeast wing and subsequently detached from the main building to form a separate building, though it is unclear from the historic map evidence how much of the present structure is original.
A very basic photographic record of the exterior was created in 2011 in response to the notification of the proposed demolition of the building. <1>
