Full Description
A post-medieval farmhouse and associated steading buildings at Corarnstilbeg farm, Kingussie. The house and parts of the steading appear on the 1st Edition OS Map, and therefore date at the latest to 1872. The farmhouse was of a probable C18/C19 date, and the original remnants of the steading were probably contemporary with this. The main building materials comprised of stone and mortar. A partially stone-and-mortar wall, partially drystone wall, ran between the outbuildings.
A photographic survey was carried out by Groves-Raines Architects Ltd. In 2012, as part of a condition on a planning application. <1>
