Full Description
A derelict post-medieval steading with later C19 and C20 additions. The north-west section of the steading building appears on the 1st Edition OS map, and so dates at the latest to 1871. The north-east and south-west sections are apparent on the 1970 Fifth Edition OS map, and the most recent south-east section addition is present in aerial photography conducted between 1999 and 2001. The building material for this structure was comprised primarily of stone and mortal, with slate roofing over all but the most recent section, which was roofed in tin.
A basic photographic record was created in 2013 as part of a condition on a planning application to convert the current building into residential housing. <1>
