Full Description

A structure most likely to be be shieling hut. The structure was circular, measuring 2.5m in diameter and was tucked into the hillside. Their function was suggested by a local farmer as a structure used to put a ewe with an orphaned lamb or twin in order to get the lamb to suckle.

The site was visited and photographed by Jon Haylett on the 13th of November 2013. <1>
