Full Description
A possible WWI waiting room at Invergordon station.
The building was investigated in 2015 as part of the ARCH project 'Invergordon in World War I'. A long building on the northbound platform of Invergordon Station is depicted on a plan from WWI in a private collection. It does not appear on the 2nd edition OS map (surveyed 1902), but is visible on a WWI aerial photograph and on a 1930 aerial photograph, but not on the 1947 aerial photo. It is likely to be a waiting room. <1>
