Full Description

Lying on a natural platform on the W flank of Meall Buidhe, at a height of 50m OD is a D-shaped structure. It has rubble stone walls, now ruinous and measures 5m along its straight side with a radius of 4m. A possible entrance lies in the centre of the straight side.
Lying parallel to the straight side and 10m to the N is a short length of stone dyke 8m long.
The plough has passed between this dyke and the D-shaped structure revealing a black earth containing midden debris. This debris consists of fragments of calcined bone, burnt and fragmented beach pebbles and small flint flakes.
Visited by M Wildgoose December 1989.
