Full Description
A small WWII building in the Seabank Tank Farm, Invergordon.
The building was investigated in 2015 as part of the ARCH project 'Invergordon in World War I'. Within the tank farm area and to the southwest of the Seabank road entrance to the tank farm is a small brick building with large doors. It is similar in design to other WWII buildings scattered throughout Invergordon, including to the east of the carpark near the church, to the west of the Admiralty Pier, and another similar to the west of this one, which is labelled 'Foam Store No. 2'. The buildings appears on a 1945 aerial photograph, but not on WWI plans. <1>
