Full Description

A small WWII military building near the former Boiler shop, Invergordon.

The building was investigated in 2015 as part of the ARCH project 'Invergordon in World War I'. A small building on the northbound side of the railway line at Invergordon Station is depicted on a Naval Plan of Invergordon dating from WWI, now in private collection. It also appears on the 2nd edition OS map (surveyed 1902). Its function is not known. <1>

Note: It does appear on the OS 2nd Edition. A small building shown is not in the same location [IS-L 09/03/2016].
