Full Description

The C18 granary and associated farm buildings at the Castle of Mey, Caithness. The associated buildings include a pigsty, a cottage, garages and stables and probably date to the C19.

The complex is curtilage listed at Category A in association with the Castle of Mey.

The building complex was photographed externally in 2016 by Dovecot Heritage and Design prior to and during repairs to the roof being carried out as a condition of listed building consent. <1>

Photographs of the building complex were supplied by Dovecot Heritage and Design in 2017 to satisfy a condition on a listed buiding consent application connected to a planning application for the conversion of the buildings for alternative use. The dates of the photographs range from 2014 to 2017. <2>
