Full Description

A large circular feature, possibly a hut circle, at Tore on the Black Isle.

The feature was reported by C Wightman of Galbraith in 2017 and had been seen during a pre-forestry harvesting assessment. It is apparently known locally as 'the fairy ring'. <1> Photographs were supplied but the site is covered by long grass and not immediately identifiable.

The feature appears as a large circular embanked feature in vegetation, approximately 20m across, on vertical aerial photographs taken in 2015. <2>
