Full Description

A degraded stone structure at Knockfin.

A degraded stone structure (Site 22) at Knockfin was recorded in 2004 during a walkover survey at Knockfin by Archaeological and Ancient Landscape Survey for the Forestry Commission Scotland. Lying on a natural terrace, just within the forest fence, is a degraded, round ended, structure which measures 6.5 meters long by 4 meters wide over walls 700rrun wide. A collapsed door opening lies in the SW corner of the structure. <1>
