Full Description

MG46NW 11 4474 6793.

At NG 4474 6793 on a spur is a robbed dun reduced to its foundations. Roughly D-shaped on plan it measures 24.0m NW/SE by 18.0m transversely overall, with the base course of the outer wall face visible for most of the periphery but no inner face evident. The entrance 1.9m wide and 3.2m long is midway along the near straight NW side. Two later sub-circular structures occur in the interior, one of them partly overlying the wall, and outside in the NW are the remains of two later walls.
