Ard (Achatatoil)
These sites were recorded by NOSAS in 2008/9 as part of an archaeological survey of outer Loch Hourn.
Site 1402. A hut circle, measuring c.6.5 m in diameter internally. The wall on the NE side is built into the slope and is c.0.75m wide. The wall in the SW arc is c.1m wide and c.0.75 high, with visible stonework. There are 2 gaps in the wall; the one in the SSE arc is possibly an entrance. The second gap is in the NNW arc. <1>
